Fairy Tale Activities are a fun way to work on language and vocabulary with kids. Some of our favorite, classic fairy tales are great for story retelling, analyzing characters, and teaching life lessons/morals.
What is a Fairy Tale?
According to literaryterms.net, “a fairy tale is a story, often intended for children, that features fanciful and wonderous characters, such as elves, goblins, and even, but not necessarily, fairies”. Fairy tales can be found in all cultures and very often, they begin with the phrase “Once Upon a Time. A couple of the more famous writers of fairy tales are Hans Christian Anderson, and the Brothers Grimm.
